Join these Battle Mountain High School seniors for a Project Graduation fundraiser at Gobi Grill on Friday for a fun, casual evening. Gobi Grill (former Asian Spice Bistro) will be donating 10 percent of reveune to BMHS and VSSA Project Graduation — the drug- and alcohol-free event held the night of graduation. Dinner from 6 to 9 p.m.; silent auction from 6 to 8 p.m. Schwing Daddy will play from 8 p.m. until close.

There will be drop-in softball at the Ford Park ballfields Wednesday nights at 5:30! Cost is $3 per person; men and women of all abilities are welcome. Come out and have some fun, hit some balls, meet some new people and maybe get picked up on a team if you don’t already have one! We’ll split up into teams and play some fun games until dark.

The Vail Valley Soccer Club has several Board of Director openings and is seeking qualified community leaders who have an interest in helping shape the future of this growing youth sports nonprofit organization. Interested individuals should send their resumes and reasons of interest to Board President Don Dressler at by May 10. New board members will be chosen at the annual meeting, which takes place on May 17 at the Field House. Thank you.
