The Eagle County Healthy Aging Program offers trips for shopping, errands or medical appointments to seniors age 60 or older on Mondays each month. Trips are offered to various locations such as Glenwood Springs, Silverthorne and Grand Junction, as well as various in-county locations, and leave from either Eagle or Minturn, depending on the schedule. Limited home pickup is available, depending on location. For more information, please call 970-328-8896.
Casino Night 2012 is Saturday at the Lodge at Vail from 7 to 11 p.m.
We need black jack and Texas Hold’em dealers from 7 to 9 p.m. or 9 to 11 p.m. Volunteers receive free entry and $400 in chips to play and a half-price ticket to the event for a guest. Contact Kari Corbin at email@example.com or 970-949-4686 if you are interested.
Those units are all deed-restricted, meaning that only people who work an annual average of 30 hours per week can live there. That keeps the apartments out of the short-term rental pool and available to local residents.
