Town Talk for May 4

Home is wherever I'm with you

The Eagle Eye Flea and Farmers’ Market is offering space for $20 per market Sunday when all nine Sundays are reserved. That’s almost free! Nonprofits get free space (as available).

There are nine Sundays this coming summer when the flea and farmers’ market will be kicking off at the Exhibition Hall and North Lawn of the Eagle County Fairgrounds. June 6 is the first market date. This is a wonderful location as it is visible from Interstate 70, is next to the visitors’ center/rest stop and the Historical Society Museum and is on the ECO bus route, and parking is not a problem.

Becoming a vendor is easy, and being a vendor provides extra cash, which always comes in handy. The fairgrounds are located in unincorporated Eagle County, which means the only sales tax is the county’s 4.4 percent.

For more information or an application to reserve your space, please go to or call 970-328-1960.

Thank you to the customer at City Market who returned the wallet I left in the parking lot. Karma is a beautiful thing.
