Eagle Valley High School’s student council is sponsoring a blood drive Tuesday at the school, 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. The drive will benefit St. Mary’s Hospital in Grand Junction. The more the merrier – there’s always a need for blood!

Congratulations to the winners of the scholarship raffle for Battle Mountain High School and Vail Ski & Snowboard Academy Project Graduation. Devon DeCrausaz, who held ticket 234, and Patti Cogswell, who purchased 280, were the winners of the $5,000 scholarship raffle. The winning tickets were drawn May 1 at Battle Mountain’s campus in Edwards. Project Graduation volunteers were thrilled with the turnout and want to thank all the parents and community members who purchased tickets. Proceeds will be used to help fund the alcohol- and drug-free event held for seniors on the night of graduation.
