The Eagle Valley Rod and Gun Club in Gypsum will host its annual Turkey Shoot on Saturday at the Gypsum Shooting Sports Park. Shooting starts at 9 a.m., and competition starts at 10 a.m.
And, all you deadeyes, there will be prizes of turkey and bacon. The club promises lots of winners.
Over on the trap shooting side, people can compete in “Annie Oakley” and “piece” shooting.
On the rifle side of the range, there will be competetions for those with open-sight hunting and .22-caliber rifles, scoped rifles, and small and big-caliber pistols.
Everyone is welcome to shoot as many events as they want, but people need to bring their own firearms and ammunition.
So come on out and have a blast!
