Town Talk for Nov. 14

Vail, CO Colorado
The team from the Vail Automotive Classic and the Vail Valley Jet Center presented checks to the Crissa Lea Swinford Scholarship Fund and Jack’s Place, the lodge for patients undergoing cancer treatment at Shaw Regional Cancer Center. The funds were raised at the Wheels and Wings event that took place at the Jet Center on Sept. 10. Thank you to all who attended this great event.

Lost Thursday around 1:15 p.m. on U.S. Highway 6 near my home just west of Valley Road in Gypsum: a brown and white jacket with wolves on it, stickers for license plates and a very important small green bag or fanny pack containing a cellphone, driver’s license, credit card, $300 cash, a handicapped tag to hang on a car mirror and miscellaneous handicap items.

A lady in a green van was seen picking up the items and driving off. Please return the items! They belong to a handicapped person and are very important. If you know anything, please call 970-524-4009 or 970-471-4545.
