Thanks to everyone who has spotted Boone and called! Please continue to call if you see him. Boone is a beautiful black Lab male with a white stripe on his chest who escaped from the West Vail Safeway parking lot Nov. 19. He’s very afraid of people and dogs. He has been sighted several times near the roundabout by the gas stations and McDonald’s on North Frontage Road and also near the Holiday Inn. Boone was being transferred from a Denver area shelter to a rescue group when he slipped out of his collar. He isn’t microchipped or neutered yet but is current on all vaccinations. He’s cold, hungry and scared, and we want to rescue him as quickly as possible. If you see Boone, please call 970-366-0463 immediately – thank you for helping us!
