It wasn’t “lunch as usual” for the nearly 50 seniors who trekked from all over Eagle County to two special lunches at the Blue Moose in Beaver Creek on Oct. 27 and 28. The Blue Moose generously hosted the lunches in support of the county’s senior meal program, which provides low-cost, nutritious meals to older adults in the community. Eagle County’s Healthy Aging program provides meal services for seniors at three sites in the county (Eagle, Minturn and El Jebel) and home-delivered meals throughout the county, in addition to exercise classes, transportation services and other resources to help keep our seniors healthy, active and socially engaged. Thank you, Blue Moose staff and Brian and Pat Nolan, for supporting this program and our community!
