Venture Sports Mountain Quest, Buzz’s, All Mountain Sports, Boot Lab., SOS, and a cast of thousands will be around. Sunday is the area’s first tailgate sale. It’s a ski flea market with no admission charge. Anyone with gear to sell or swap is invited to hawk their wares. Call 949-1318.
Gorsuch and Nelson are famers
Vail locals Dave Gorsuch and Cindy Nelson are being honored Saturday with induction into the Colorado Ski Hall of Fame. There are three other very nice folks, and we’re sure they’ll have a great time Saturday, but we’re all about Dave and Cindy because they’re one of US. It’s down in Westminster at the Westin. Tickets for the Colorado Ski Hall of Fame Gala are $80 for members of the Colorado Ski Museum and $100 for non-members. Corporate table sponsorships are also available.
