Town Talk for Oct. 21
The Grand Ave. Grill in Eagle is hosting a “Pay the Pig for Pink” party Friday.
The party is a celebration for the grill’s championship in a recent powderpuff football event that raised money for breast cancer research.
The prize this year was a pink piggy bank, and team members have been raising money to put in the bank since they brought the trophy home.
The party Friday is for all the girls who played in the powderpuff derby – from Moe’s Original Bar B Que, The Dusty Boot, the Brush Creek Saloon, the Back Bowl, Paradigms and Pazzo’s – and for everyone else, of course.
The grill will have pink drink specials, and Michael Jude and John Michel will perform from 6 to 11 p.m.
So put on some pink, and pay the pig!
