For all of you who had the privilege to know “The King Of The Jungle”, aka Lyon Chaves, he bids a fond farewell from the deck of “The Lyon’s Den”. He did not have time reach you all. His list of friends is too long. His journey of the last 40 years in the Vail Valley has been an extraordinary one. It will be out in movie form soon, we think. And thanks to all who have been a part of it. He will be enjoying his retirement in his home country of Costa Rica, and taking up surfing. Staff Photo |
