Annual eagle community cleanup day

Nearly 60 volunteers, ages three to seventy or more, turned out on a rainy and cold morning to collect trash from the streets and pathways in Eagle, Saturday, May 7. Their orange bags of trash were left at curbside for the town to collect. The annual Eagle Community Cleanup Day is sponsored by the Eagle Ranch Association, the town of Eagle and the Eagle Chamber of Commerce. Additional support was provided by The Dusty Boot and The Life! Magazine. Volunteers were treated to coffee and donuts before collecting trash and with breakfast burritos following their work. Collection services were donated by Vail Honeywagon, Vail Valley Thrift Stores, Habitat Restore and Allied Record Services.
