On Aug. 20, The Literacy Project will host guest speaker Amanda Enayati for its annual luncheon fundraiser at The Westin Riverfront Resort & Spa at at 11:30 a.m. Enayati is a columnist, author and speaker whose essays about stress, happiness, creativity, technology and identity have appeared on CNN, PBS, NPR and in The Washington Post. As a contributor for CNN Health, she began examining the quest for well-being and life balance in 2011 in her health column, Seeking Serenity, which led to the publication of her new book, "Seeking Serenity: The Ten New Rules for Health and Happiness in the Age of Anxiety."
