Breaking down ballot items

As a service to the community, The Women’s Foundation is proud to bring one of their community partners in Denver, The Bell Policy Center, to the Vail Valley on Sept. 28. As part of their ongoing education and outreach efforts around issues vital to Coloradans, the Bell Policy Center will be breaking down the nine ballot measures that will be voted on this November. The policy experts will present both sides of each measure and explain their impacts on Colorado’s future. The presentation will be done by the Bell’s President Scott Wasserman and Policy Director Rich Jones. Beginning at noon, the presentation will be held in the auditorium at the Colorado Mountain College campus, located at 150 Miller Ranch Road in Edwards. Lunch will be available to be purchased in the cafe, Jasmine’s Home Cooking, adjacent to the auditorium and specializing in Asian and Mediterranean food (average cost of lunch is between $6 and $10). Attendees are also welcome to bring their own lunch. Please RSVP to Lisa Pease at lisap@wfco.org or call 970-471-3396 no later than today.
