Quinn Strauch, 15, finished up his last day of summer school vacation on top. He took first place at the Gorefest Kayak Freestyle Rodeo on Aug. 23 held at the new Pumphouse Gore Canyon Whitewater Park. Quinn is now a sophomore at Vail Christian High School.
