Colorado State University Extension is offering the Master Food Safety Advisor program for people who have an interest in food safety and food science or love to preserve food. This training consists of food safety and prevention of foodborne illness, methods of canning, pickling, freezing and dehydrating and will be conducted on Thursdays; March 3 – 24, at the Garfield County Extension Office, Event Hall, 1001 Railroad Avenue, in Rifle. More information and applications are on the website. Applications are due on Thursday.
