Gaming for a cause

The Vail Pinball Association manages the classic pinball assets of the Vail Pinball Collectors Club, on location at select venues around Eagle Valley for 100% charitable use. In 2015, the VPA has collected nearly $3000 — quarter by quarter — and donated the money to various 501c3 nonprofits which benefit our community. Some of organizations are Friends of VMRG, Salvation Army Food Bank and Pink Vail. We appreciate their services, which better the quality of all our lives and touch so many. The venues, including Kirby Cosmos, Crazy Mountain Brewery, Route 6 and Altitude donate their space and electricity and spread the good gospel of non-violent gaming for all ages. In appreciation of the players of these great old pingames helping charity, all the VPAs games on location will be randomly placed on free play in 2016 for a day or more. This is the VPA's way of saying thank you for giving, thank you for engaging and thank you for caring about others in need. Enjoy a safe, happy and warm holiday season, and have a great game!
