On Thursday, August 20, The Literacy Project will host guest speaker Amanda Enayati for its annual luncheon fundraiser, to be held at The Westin Riverfront Resort & Spa at Beaver Creek Mountain at 11:30 a.m. Amanda Enayati is a columnist, author and speaker whose essays about stress, happiness, creativity, technology, and identity have appeared on CNN, PBS, NPR, and in The Washington Post. As a contributor for CNN Health, she began examining the quest for well-being and life balance in her health column, “Seeking Serenity” in 2011, which led to the publication of her new book, Seeking Serenity: The Ten New Rules for Health and Happiness in the Age of Anxiety. The luncheon ticket price is $125 and includes lunch, a silent auction and a copy of Enayati’s book.
