Do you want to improve your skills and understanding of DSLR photography? Or perhaps you simply want to leave the automatic mode behind. If you answered yes to either question, then this workshop is for you! The Alpine Arts Center in Edwards is offering a fast-paced workshop on four consecutive Tuesdays from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. beginning June 2 and ending June 23. This workshop was designed for the advanced beginner to intermediate photo enthusiast and will cover camera settings, exposure, the ISO-aperture-shutter speed triangle, compositional creativity, essential gear, histograms and more. Requirements: You must email two images of at least 500 KB to the instructor, Butch Mazzuca, prior to class ( The workshop is for DSLRs only — no point and shoot cameras, i.e. your camera must have a detachable lens. Be sure we have your correct email address; pre-class instructions will be emailed prior to class. Bring your camera, instruction manual and be prepared to have some fun.
