Public art

The town of Vail’s Art in Public Places is pleased to exhibit work by 15 local artists in the Vail Public Library’s Community Room through AUg. 31. The exhibition includes oil, watercolor and acrylic paintings, as well as photography. The public is invited to select the next work to be displayed over the fireplace through a People’s Choice Award. A ballot box is located within the exhibition so that you can cast your vote. This chosen work will be the next work of art on view above the fireplace within the library. Visit www.artinvail.com or call 970-479-2344 for more information.
