Remembering Earl

Earl Eaton found Vail Mountain when he was a kid, growing up hunting and fishing in this valley. He introduced the mountain to Pete Seibert and the rest, as they say, is history. Earl invented and built all sorts of things, including a big bunch of Vail in the summer of 1962 when they were getting the ski resort up and running. Earl died eight years ago during Memorial Day weekend.
