Sylvan Lake State Park wants to remind paddlers that stand-up paddleboards are considered a vessel. Just like canoes, kayaks and rafts, Colorado boating equipment requirements apply. You need a personal flotation device, a sound producing device (a whistle) and you must have the board marked with the owner's name and address (a phone number is great too).
