Spraddle Creek Hike Town Talk | August 27, 2015 Join Wilderness Workshop for a hike into the Spraddle Creek proposal area, a key watershed protection area in the Continental Divide Wilderness and Recreation Act recently introduced into Congress by Rep. Jared Polis. This moderate hike will take place Saturday at 8:30 a.m. and will meander through meadows, aspen and fir forests, with frequent stops to appreciate the beautiful wildlands located so close to Vail. This mid-elevation hike is four miles with moderate altitude gain of 1,200 feet.
