Street survival programTown Talk | November 6, 2016 The Edwards Rotary Club would like to thank everyone who helped bring Street Survival back to our Valley on Oct. 23. We had another successful day coaching 30 students on the responsibility that comes with driving. Thank you, Eagle County Regional Airport and the Vail Valley Jet Center, for the use of the tarmac to set up our course and the ARFF for the fire trucks and water to help simulate driving on a slick surface. Colorado Mountain Express provided a fabulous van to help shuttle our students from point A to point B at the Jet Center and we had a great driver, Ralston Allen. We could not run this program without the many volunteers and businesses that help. Thank you to our local coaches from Rotary and the community who were able to help: Brian Gilbertson, Matt Kozusko, Linda Lomax, Bill MacFarlane, Chuck Smallwood. Glen Tripp, Mike Trueblood, Dana Walker, Andre Wilner, Andrew Zaback and Linda Hill, for organizing the program. Street Survival coaches from Colorado Springs look forward to seeing everyone next year.
