Finding Your Center: Learning how to manage stress and emotions through yoga techniques is an event taking place Tuesday from 6 to 7 p.m. at Mind Springs Health in Eagle, located at 137 Howard St.
This group is for people who are feeling stressed, anxious, depressed and/or overwhelmed. Basic yoga postures will be used, along with breathing techniques, mantras and affirmations, journaling and meditation. Poses can be adapted for those with body limitations and will be only part of the group.
This group goes beyond talk therapy and uses mind-body techniques. Through different movement and breathing techniques, emotions and memories can be released in ways that aren’t accessible through just talking. For more information, call 970-328-6969.
