Stuffed animals for kids in need

My name is Sasha and I turned 13 years old and I'm going to have my Bar Mitzvah this year. My parents, family, Rabbis and teachers taught me about the responsibilities of Jewish adulthood and about the importance helping others and giving back. I was adopted from Russia when I was 17 months old. Families are created in many different ways and made up of many different types of people. I don’t have a brother or sister, but when I was little, I had a lot of stuffed animals, including a special teddy bear I called Panda. I called my stuffed animals snuggles. They were like friends to me and I loved them. I’m collecting brand new snuggles for children in foster care and who are waiting to be adopted. They can take the snuggle with them as they start their lives with their families. Stuffed animals help children feel in control; they encourage imagination and that helps development; they make you happy and never judge you; they’re great for hugging; and they are dependable. The Eagle County Department of Human Services is helping get the stuffed animals to their new owners. I hope you’ll help me with my project by donating a snuggle. You can send it to me at 1768 Alpine Drive #2 Vail, CO 81657 or drop it off at my dad's office at Christiania Realty 356 Hanson Ranch Road in Vail Village.  If you have questions, you can reach me through my mom’s email at
