Swing for our Seniors

The Gypsum Gents golf team, with an average age of 70, outscored local pros at the recent Swing for our Seniors Golf Tournament at Gypsum Creek Golf Club. Golfers Lee Dorothy, Dan Vignola, Gary Davies and John Paxton took the honors in a close competition to raise funds for Eagle Valley Senior Life's Senior Spot program. The EVSL annual event drew strong support from more than 46 local businesses and individuals to raise funds for the Senior Spot. With 57 participants and supporters, the EVSL golf tournament was the largest yet and featured an after-party with live music, a putting contest, appetizers from the club's Creekside Grill and a silent auction. Main sponsors included Parts City, The Mountain Haus, First Bank, Jerry Sibley Plumbing, the town of Gypsum, Blue Moose Pizza, and Roger and Margo Behler.
