Join us on March 18 at 6 p.m. for a talk with Dr. Jim Delisle about supporting the unique needs of gifted and twice exceptional (gifted with a learning disability) kids. Some kids may have been identified as gifted by their schools and others may be that âI know heâs smart, but he struggles with challenges in organization, focus and attentionâand ugh! His handwriting!â kind of child. This talk will help you learn who is gifted and why and how you as a parent or educator might support him/her. The talk is free with a suggested donation $5. A pizza dinner will be served, and childcare and fun activities will be provided on-site. The talk will take place at Lake Creek Village Community Center. For more information, contact Gifted Education Team: Anne at 970-376-5232 or Ute Springs Experiential Learning Center: Amy at 970-445-0644.
