Vail Daily Town Talk: Celebrate Constitution Week
September 17, 2017

Happy 230th birthday. The United States Constitution was adopted on September 17, 1787. This week is Constitution Week. During the week, pause to celebrate your Constitution, those who sacrificed to make it a possibility, those who framed our government and codified our rights and those who continue to fight to defend it even to this day. Please join prospective members of the new Vail Valley Daughters of the American Revolution chapter on Sept. 23, from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Avon Public Library, to learn more about the work of the Daughters of the American Revolution and its support of our Constitution and other mission areas of education, historic preservation and patriotism. For more information, contact Wendy Becker, organizing regent, at wendy@stonewillowcorp.com or call her at 970-376-7512.
