The 30th annual Vail International Pro Am was a resounding success again this year. The three-day event was hosted by Country Club of the Rockies, Sonnenalp Golf Club and Frost Creek Golf Club and featured 26 teams from some of the premier golf clubs in America. Held the second week in September, the VIPA generated $12,000 in donations to local charities including: The First Tee of Denver, YouthPower365, and the Can Do MS Foundation. This year's champions were the team from Cedar Rapids Country Club, located in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. The Professional Champion was former PGA Tour Player Doug Barron, from Chickasaw Golf Club in Memphis, Tennessee. Thanks to all who participated and supported the event, which has become one of the most enduring and successful Professional Amateur Golf Tournaments in the country.
