Vail Symposium monday

Physician-assisted death for patients diagnosed as terminally ill remains illegal in Colorado. Despite its legalization by five other states, Colorado failed to join them in 2015, when House Bill 1135 was voted down 8 to 5 by the House Health and Human Services Committee. The Vail Symposium will host Carrie Ann Lucas, who argues against right-to-die legislation, along with two other panelists, who argue for right-to-die legislation, to explore this controversial issue. The event is at 5:30 p.m. at the Donovan Pavilion in Vail. Tickets can be bought in advance at or by calling 970-476-0954.
