VVP Meeting
‘Twas one week before the VVP annual meeting, when all through the town,
Excitement was building, this would be the place to be, hands-down.
Manor Vail was preparing the location with care,
In hopes that Chris Romer soon would be there;

The speakers were confident, not at all full of dread
While visions of tourism and 2015 danced in their heads;
And Chris whistled, and shouted, and called them by name:
“Now, Mike! Now, Ceil! Now Jeremy and Jill!
On, Ralf! On, Michael! On, Donner and Blitzen!
To the top of the stage! It’s time to present!
Let’s get the ball rolling, and start this event!
There was talk of Ski Championships and how it would be great,
Followed by an exciting VVP Chamber update.
Economic development was getting down to a science,
Then at last, they discussed the Eagle Air Alliance.
And the meeting was over, it had gone oh so well,
Everyone started to leave, walking pell-mell.
But I heard Chris exclaim, ere he walked out of sight —
“Please stay for our after-hours mixer tonight!”
