Toys and coats drive Friday

Three local radio stations are hosting their annual Toy & Coat Drive for the Salvation Army Friday. KTUN-The Eagle, KSKESki Country and Jack-FM will all cover the event with live broadcasts on Friday. People can bring “gently” worn coats and new, un-wrapped toys to the Avon Wal-Mart between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. The collections will take place between Wal-Mart’s two main entrances.The Salvation Army’s holiday store will open over the weekend and Friday’s drive should help stock the shop. The Salvation Army is also looking for volunteer bell ringers, basket deliveries and assistance with their Adopt-A-Family Program.
