What they talked about: Town Manager Stan Zemler said work will intensify soon in the negotiations between the town and Texas developer Open Hospitality Group/Hillwood Capital. He said he’s having a good dialogue with Vail Resorts, which holds protective covenants on the town-owned land. The developer wants to rebuild the garage into more parking, condos, timeshares, stores, restaurants, a bus station and a conference center.
