Both lanes reopen after accident on I-70 westbound between Wolcott, Eagle
VAIL — Both lanes of westbound Interstate 70 were reopen as of 8:40 p.m. Friday after a camper rollover between Wolcott and Eagle earlier in the evening. The accident was at westbound mile marker 151.
A 2005 Nissan pickup truck from Utah was pulling a camper, which rolled on the interstate. A 61-year-old man was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The accident was reported at 4:44 p.m.
Both lanes were closed until around 5 p.m., when one lane reopened.
The Upper Eagle Regional Water Authority, the Traer Creek developer and various contractors have reached a settlement in a three-year legal fight over a failed 2 million gallon water tank that was meant to serve the development.
