Treasure hunt in June set to benefit Hospice of the Valley
VAIL — Hospice of the Valley presents its third annual Treasures of Hospice fundraiser June 19 at Mountain Standard restaurant in Vail Village.
Put on your pirate duds and join Hospice of the Valley for a fun-filled summer evening. Put together a team or join one for the treasure hunt. Test your local knowledge by following clues on a walking hunt of about a mile to various familiar “islands” in the Vail Village. Or skip the treasure hunt and join them for the dinner.
Alpine Bank is the Presenting Sponsor, Vail Valley Medical Center and Gallegos Masonry are Gold Brick Sponsors, East West Resorts is a Doubloons Sponsor, and Bold Property Management and 1st & Main Investments are Pieces of Eight Sponsors. Sponsorships are still available.
Net proceeds will support the Hospice of the Valley bereavement and We Honor Veterans programs.
The We Honor Veterans program is a national awareness and action endeavor that helps ensure veterans receive the best possible care while honoring their end-of-life needs. This program aims to connect volunteers who are veterans themselves with veteran hospice patients. Veteran volunteers have a unique ability to relate to each patient, creating an environment where life review and emotional healing may occur.
