Trees available for Eagle County landowers

EAGLE COUNTY, Colorado ” The Eagle County Conservation District is taking orders for both potted and bare-rot trees to be delivered this spring when conditions are right for planting. There are numerous varieties available that would work as wildlife habitat, wind breaks and erosion control.

Order forms can be picked up at the Conservation District’s annual meeting on Feb. 19, at 6 p.m. at the Gypsum Recreation Center (to RSVP, call 970-945-5494, option 3) or the Small Acreage Workshop on March 7 at 8:30 AM at the Gracious Savior Lutheran Church in Edwards (preregistration for this workshop is required at 970-328-8630.)

Order forms can also be picked up in Eagle at Corky’s Gas Station and car wash or by calling the Natural Resources Conservation Service at 970-945-5494 ,option 3, in Glenwood Springs. The deadline to order is approaching so do it soon.
