Trends watch: Getting through mud season
Mud. It’s already showing up in our parking lots and driveways, but the worst is still to come. It’s deep and dirty, and we don’t want to get it on us or get stuck in it. Here are a few products to help you get through mud season without getting too dirty.
This is the new 27-9.75-12 Bi-Claw. Put these babies on to go hunting, rock climbing, off-roading or whatever. One size only: BIG
Features the same tough rubber compound as other Mud Muchine Tires, self-cleaning lugs, a heavy ply rating and a smooth ride.
Inspired by European cross-country racers for racing on muddy terrain, these small profile tires are lightweight and cut through loose terrain, while the spiked tread pattern works to find traction through the mud. The widely spaced tread pattern resists packing by shedding mud and loose, damp soil.
This new all-conditions tire is a mud tire that’s designed for the trail and slings mud with the best of them. Computer-aided engineering has resulted in an extremely light mud/trail tire. Unique center tread contact area provides a smooth, radial-like ride. Angled shoulder lugs provide unmatched mud traction and the six-ply rating gives it great durability.
These boots will keep feet comfortable and dry. Temperature ranges from 75 degrees to sub-freezing. Not recommended for use on concrete or other hard surfaces for extended periods of time. A self-cleaning outsole wraps the entire perimeter to provide maximum protection and stability. Other mud boots are available for both men and women.
These dog socks prevent muddy paws that could end up soiling your carpets and floors. They are both disposable and re-usable and they stay secure on dogs’ paws. The socks are lightweight, padded and breathable.
