• Tuesday, Feb. 6: Water exercise class for to increase flexibility and strength, decrease joint pain, Avon Rec Center, 10 a.m. cost: $2.

• Wednesday, Feb. 7: Poker game at the Golden Eagle, 1 p.m. All are welcome to join.

• Wednesday, Feb. 7: Non-medical foot care at Maloit Park Senior Wellness Center, 9:30-11:30 a.m. Call 970-328-2812 for an appointment.

• Wednesday, Feb. 7: The first talk in a yearlong series, Dr. Jules Rosen of Mind Springs Health will present Mental Health and Aging at 5:30 p.m. at Avon Library. RSVP is appreciated, but not mandatory. Call 970-328-8896 for more information.

• Wednesday, Feb. 7: Greeting Card Making Workshop at the Golden Eagle Senior Center, 2 to 4 p.m. Make and take 3 cards and supplies are provided. Suggested $5 donation to help replenish supplies.

• Friday, Feb. 9: Book Lover’s Coffee Klatch, 10:30 a.m. at Golden Eagle Senior Center. Good conversation on books, authors, coffee, tea and goodies provided.

• Saturday, Feb. 10: Greeting Card Making Workshop at the Golden Eagle Senior Center, 2 to 4 p.m. Make and take three cards — supplies are provided. Suggested $5 donation to help replenish supplies.

• Tuesday, Feb. 13: Eagle County Caregiver/Memory Loss Support Group at Eagle River Presbyterian Church 4:30 to 6 p.m. If you are caregiving for a family member who has been diagnosed or is showing signs of dementia, then you are welcome to attend. Please call 970-328-8831 for more information.
