Vail Cabaret Nights returns

VAIL – Sing it from the rooftops, the popular Vail Cabaret Nights is back. Beginning Sunday, Cabaret performances will be held every Sunday, Tuesday and Wednesday through March 24. The fun-filled evenings include singing waiters and waitresses, as well as tapas, pizza and crepes from Marketplace on Meadow Drive.

Lead by artistic director Rayla Kundolf and musical director Taylor Kundolf, the cast includes Remsen Allard, Charlie Barry, Meghan Jacobs, Gina Lovell, Kate Manley and Aundrea Ware.

“It is both an honor and a privilege to work with these talented performers. We’ve become like a family here at Cabaret Nights,” said Rayla Kundolf. “We all look forward to continuing our tradition of food, fun and fabulous performances here at Marketplace on Meadow Drive.”



Remsen Allard is a junior at Battle Mountain High School. He has been singing and performing since he was a youngster. Remsen has been involved in numerous productions with the Vail Performing Arts Academy. He also has been a regular member of the Battle Mountain High School Players and is a member of the barbershop quartet Shan nana Mockery.

Charlie Barry is from Edwards and has lived in Vail Valley all his life. He began singing five years ago, when he first participated in plays and musicals. He performs with the Vail Performing Arts Academy and is a member of the Battle Mountain High School Players. Like Remsen, he is a member of the barbershop quartet Shan nana Mockery. Charlie is an avid skier and is a student at The Ski Academy/Battle Mountain.

Meghan Jacobs is a senior at Vail Christian High School. She loves to sing and is planning on pursuing it as a profession. She is active in the music program at her school and participates in musical events locally. She sings in chapel at her school and was asked to sing at the Beaver Creek Tree Lighting this year, which was her biggest audience yet, consisting of 3,000 people.

Gina Lovell currently attends Battle Mountain High School as a senior. She is actively involved in as many theater productions as possible because of her love of the stage. Also, she participates in many sports and clubs in her free time. Singing is her favorite pastime.

Aundrea Ware has lived in Gypsum for 14 years. As a mother of three children, she is very excited to participate in the Cabaret Nights 2010. She has been singing since she was 12, has won many competitions and was awarded the National School Choral Award in 1996. Some of her local music contributions have been to Word of Life Worship Center in Gypsum, Eagle Valley Community Church in Eagle and The Aspen Grove Cafe in Edwards.

Kate Manley is a junior at Battle Mountain High School. Kate plays volleyball, golf and skis, but her passion is music. Kate this past summer attended the six-week operatic vocal program at Interlochen and is currently waiting to hear if she will be attending Tanglewood’s operatic vocal program this summer. Kate’s ultimate goal is to attend Julliard and pursue a career in vocal performance.

Also featured will be Camille Sawtelle, Danielle Barry and Bailey Garton.

Marketplace on Meadow Drive is located in Vail Village, at the corner of Meadow Drive and Willow Bridge Road, just west of the International Bridge. From the Vail garage, head west on Meadow Drive.
