VAIL — As Vail heads into the hectic pace of the holiday season, Aria Athletic Club at Vail Cascade Resort invites one and all to take the time to nurture the mind, body and spirit with its Mountain Yoga Retreat, set for Friday through Sunday. Aria’s yoga instructors, Charry Morris and Elena Gorgeouses, will lead attendees through morning, midday and evening sessions, combining practice, meditation, group and restorative work to realign the mind and the body’s energy flow.

‘TAKING TIME TO REFLECT’

“At Aria, we believe yoga is a life-altering discipline that will help connect mind, body and spirit while becoming more flexible, energetic and at peace — even in the midst of everyday stresses,” said Libby Maio, yoga supervisor at Aria Athletic Club. “Our Yoga Mountain Retreat offers an opportunity to physically check-in and mentally check-out while enjoying the camaraderie of the group and taking some time to reflect on where life is taking us — clarifying our purpose and creating deeper meaning for our existence. We are living in times of great change, both personal and global. This weekend is formatted to bolster our ability to face life’s transitions and rebalanced life through yoga and meditation.”

From beginners to advanced, Aria is welcoming all levels of yogis to the event. The cost is $260 for the full package or $220 for locals. Drop in rates are available. Participants wanting to stay for the weekend at the Vail Cascade Resort can enjoy discounted rates starting at $129 per night, using promo code VCYOGA2014.
