Vail Cascade partners with Elizabeth Blau on new restaurant
VAIL, Colorado Vail Cascade Resort & Spa, managed by Destination Hotels & Resorts, recently announced a partnership with renowned restaurant planning and development expert Elizabeth Blau and her team at Blau & Associates. Blau is assisting the Vail Cascade with the concept and design of its new restaurant, Atwater on Gore Creek. The restaurant will replace the resorts chophouse, Chaps, offering guests a unique new option in on-property dining. Atwater on Gore Creek is scheduled to open in time for the December 2008 holiday season.Blau & Associates is a strategic restaurant planning and development company that specializes in providing clients with fresh, creative and sound business advice needed to create exceptional food and beverage concepts from start to finish. The new restaurant name was derived from the Cascades idyllic location alongside Gore Creek. Atwater on Gore Creek will include an enclosed patio, in addition to the main dining room, with expansive windows offering views of Vail Mountain and Gore Creek.The 292-room Vail Cascade Resort & Spa provides slope-side access to the largest single-mountain ski resort in North America.
