Vail Chamber: Announcements and thanks
The busiest day of the summer has come and gone, and once again the business community successfully commemorated our nations Independence along with the many visitors and residents who came out to celebrate for the occasion. And while the slow pace of summer provides us all with the opportunity to relax, theres plenty of excitement happening at the Vail Chamber & Business Association. Primarily, many thanks to those of you who returned the BBQ Bonanza event surveys. We have received many valuable comments thus far and always welcome more. For a fledgling event, we expected to have improvements to make, and no one can inform us better than those of you who experienced the days ups and downs. For those of you who have not filled out a survey, it would help the chamber a great deal to receive as much feedback on the event as possible both positive and constructive! With these comments, we look forward to improving the event next year, so dont hesitate to give us your ideas. As is customary in the summer, the chamber also has started its annual membership drive. Congratulations go to the Sitzmark Lodge for becoming the first member of the 2007-08 year! We already have had a great response from the business community, and we thank you all for your excitement in beginning another year as a member of the Vail Chamber & Business Association. It is never too early to begin getting organized for the upcoming year, and what better time to join than in the more relaxed summer season? Whether you are renewing your membership or contemplating joining our association, you can look forward to another great membership year of benefits, such as the discounted merchant ski pass, discounted advertising, a members-only listing in the ubiquitous Vail Guide and more. We are evaluating our existing benefits and always looking to enhance the advantages to your Chamber membership, so please be on the lookout for updates! We are excited for this upcoming year, and we know that our enthusiasm will translate into an even more successful year for you and your business.
