EDWARDS — John David Webster is a recording artist, pastor and music teacher at Vail Christian Academy, and he and his students are going to show you what they’ve learned.

Vail Christian Academy’s Music for Life this Christmas is today.

Webster said the show is “a Jesus-focused, grace-filled Christmas program.”

SHOW STREAMED LIVE

Webster is a pastor at Calvary Chapel Vail Valley, and the Vail Christian Academy show will also be streamed live on http://www.ccvv.org.

Music for Life is the Christian Academy’s life-long program, Webster said, teaching children to play piano, guitars, drums and sing, giving them skills they can use for the rest of their lives.

“I love working with these kids because they teach me so much. I have a passion to see their God-given gifts grow and flourish,” Webster said.

Vail Christian Academy has three bands that play weekly for the school’s chapel services. Each band boasts a drummer, electric, bass and acoustic guitar players, a keyboard player and two or three vocalists. They play contemporary Christian songs and lead the school in worship, Webster said.
