Vail Christian High School hires new principal

EDWARDS – Tim Wong will take over the helm at Vail Christian High School on July 1. Wong is currently the executive administrator at the Vail Academy, and has various experience in education. Wong moved to the valley last year with his wife, Lynn, and their three children.Vail Christian High School will begin the 2006-07 school year in a new building and Wong says he’s ready to face the challenges that come with that and the overall high school experience. “I’m very excited about being at Vail Christian High School,” Wong says. “I’m passionate about the high school level,” says Wong. It’s been said that Wong’s enthusiasm mixed with his leadership skills is a powerful combination. Wong graduated from the Haas School of Business at the University of California at Berkeley. After several years in the business world traveling and consulting, he was the dean of students for four years at Beacon Christian Junior-Senior High School in San Mateo, Calif., where he also coached and taught. After earning a masters of science degree in school and church administration, he was the school’s principal for five years.Vail Daily, Vail, Colorado
