Vail Christian High School performs ‘Into the Woods’

EDWARDS – Vail Christian High School performs Stephen Sondheim’s “Into the Woods” on Friday, May 4, at 7 p.m. at the Vilar Center for the Performing Arts in Beaver Creek.

“Into the Woods” is a light-hearted, fast-paced musical comedy with a twist on favorite childhood fairy tales. Directing the production is Jessica Marchbanks, who graduated from VCHS in 2006, has returned to direct the production.

“I have faith in the kids and know they can all be stars,” Marchbanks said. Lead roles, including the Baker, Witch and Cinderella, are played by accomplished vocalists Ian Dunlevie and Caitlin Mutter, who are veterans of the Vail Performing Arts Academy.
