Vail conducting community survey
Vail, CO Colorado
VAIL ” The town of Vail is inviting residents, property owners, business owners and employees to take part in its community survey, which is being done via phone, Internet and mail.
The survey is conducted every other year and is used to evaluate town services and identify community priorities.
For the next two weeks, surveyors will be phoning Vail homes between 9 a.m. and 9 p.m. to request participation. Three-hundred full-time residents and 100 part-time residents are being telephoned at random.
The survey will also be accessible on the town’s Web site at http://www.vailgov.com beginning Tuesday. In addition, a mail version of the survey will be available at the front desk of the Vail Municipal Building from Tuesday until April 13. Respondents are asked to participate in the survey just once. The deadline for responses is April 22.
Respondents will be asked to evaluate town services such as public safety, snow removal, transit, parking and the library. In addition, residents will be asked to identify and prioritize issues important to the future of Vail as well as an evaluation of recreation programs and facilities managed by the Vail Recreation District.
The survey results will be released in June with a presentation to the Town Council, followed by posting of the results on the town’s Web site.
