Vail construction meetings start Tuesday

VAIL, Colorado ” Community members can find out more about upcoming construction projects in Vail, Colorado at Vail’s weekly construction meetings.
The meetings will be held at 9 a.m. each Tuesday in the community room at the Vail Public Library. Neighbors, contractors and others impacted by the construction are invited to attend.
Free parking for the first 90 minutes will be available in the Lionshead structure. After April 20, parking will be free until the next ski season.
The meeting will cover the activities at 12 commercial construction sites within the town as well as various street and utility projects, including the final phase of the West Meadow Drive streetscape project, which beings April 20.
The streetscape project will kick off the spring construction season. Contractors will be able to work within the public property in Vail Village and Lionshead from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. seven days a week between April 15 and June 26, with the exception of the Teva Mountain Games scheduled for June 4-7.
