Vail could OK to noise law tonight

Daily Staff Report
Vail, CO Colorado

VAIL ” The Vail Town Council will consider tonight final approval of a proposed law that would extend the deadline for “amplified noise” in Vail Village and Lionshead from 10 p.m. to 11 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.

Some restaurant owners who have performers entertaining their patrons say they would like to have the noise requirements loosened. But several Vail Village homeowners have objected to the change.

The council gave preliminary approval to the proposed law at its last meeting.

The meeting begins at 6 p.m. at the Vail Municipal Building. The proposed noise law is the fifth item on the agenda.
