What goods or services do you provide? Gunsmithing, customization, retail sales, appraisals, training and consignment.
What’s new or exciting at your place? I’m providing gunsmithing services to the valley, something the valley has needed for a quite some time.
What strategy do you use to differentiate your business from your competition? I’m a one-stop shop: retail, gunsmithing services, training, ammo and customization.
What philosophy do you follow in dealing with your customers? What can your customers expect from you? Customer service is priority one. I want my customers to leave feeling that they have a new friend, a newfound knowledge of firearms and firearms safety as well as confidence in the repairs they had completed.
Tell us a little about your background, education and experience: I’ve lived in the valley for over 20 years. I was a gunsmithing apprentice for years before attending the Colorado School of Trades for gunsmithing. I graduated in 2016 with high honors and armorer certifications with multiple manufacturers. I opened a private smithing shop as well as being a part-time instructor at CST. In 2019 I decided to go public with my gunsmithing as well as adding a full retail space, something my customers were asking for.
What is the most humorous thing that has happened at your business since you opened? I have a stuffed turkey above the front door. He’s not really noticeable till you go to leave. He has spooked a number of customers especially the taller you are.
